29. Weeks
Bralyn can be as tall as 17 inches now and can weigh nearly 3 pounds. (she is measuring a little bit bigger then that). She however is coming pretty close, or within 3 inches of her birth length now, but still has a lot to gain. Over the next 9-11 weeks she will more then double in weight. As she plumps up the room in my belly will start to feel a little cramped, making it less likely that I can feel hard kicks anymore and start feeling just jabs and pokes of elbows and knees!
What a big girl she is now :) .. can't wait to meet you sweet Bralyn!!

28. weeks
We were 28 Weeks on the beginning of the week before Christmas! But here was the update.
This week starts the beginning of the 7th month! Bralyn has reached over 2 1/2 pounds (2.6 to be exact). And she may be almost 16 inches long. Her skill this week is that of Blinking. She is also coughing, sucking, hiccupping, and taking practice breaths. Her lungs are nearly fully mature by now, but not ready to breath on her own quite yet. She still has lots of growing to do in the next few weeks.

Christmas in Florida was a WONDERFUL time this year!! We left on the night of the 25th to head to Florida, due to weather and snow coming to SC and NC. We got in pretty late that night, but found out later it was the right decision due to several inches that his parents had the next morning. Pictures on FB were so beautiful! And back in NC at our house they had a WHITE CHRISTMAS for sure.. with over 6 1/2 inches of snow!! (even on the 30th when we got home there is still white all over that hasn't melted yet).
We enjoyed a great Sunday with my parents and awaited the arrival of my sister and her family! Little Jadyn was so much fun this year, and I enjoyed watching her play and talk to us all! She says all of our names, including Essie (for Jessie) and Patick (for Patrick). She is a mess!!!
We opened our Christmas gifts on Monday the 27th.. and were blessed yet again with Wonderful things from our family!... Bralyn racked up on some more goodies and I got my BLACK Coach Bag and a NEW CAMERA!! YAY :)
We spent the day on the 28th shopping and enjoying family time, and the boys played flag football on the 29th.
I always enjoy celebrating my Birthday with my family, and this year was no different as we went to the Japanese Steak House on the 29th and enjoyed a wonderful meal, finishing with AMAZING Cupcakes!!
All in all it was a Wonderful trip! We were sad to leave on the 30th, but so Thankful to get to go back on the 22nd of this month!

We left on the morning of December 22nd, to head to Loris SC and visit Patrick's family for Christmas. It was a wonderful trip and visit! We hung out around the house on the 22nd and enjoyed family time. Patrick, his dad and brother played golf on the 23rd on a VERY COLD day in Myrtle Beach~ And we all went out Shopping at the Outlets on Christmas Eve Night!! IT was a wonderful time of fellowship, food and love.
We enjoyed greatly seeing the Kids get all excited about Santa, and even tracking him on the internet to see when he was arriving to deliver their gifts. They wrote a letter to Santa and set cookies out as well. :)
And the best part was the look on their faces when they realized they got what they asked for under the tree!! Priceless.~~
Patrick and I were blessed yet again with a wonderful Christmas! His parents got Patrick a Grill (AMEN~~) and little Bralyn got her very own CRADLE~~~... LOVE it! I can't wait for her to arrive and use it and all her precious gifts~~

Patrick and I celebrated our Christmas together on Tuesday December 21st.. It was so a great day! We enjoyed our time opening gifts and relaxing and then going to see Bralyn on the Ultrasound..IT was the BEST PRESENT of the DAY!..

We had a GREAT! Doctors appointment on Tuesday December 21st!... We got to See our Sweet Bralyn again via Ultrasound and were found out she is measuring 10 days ahead from original due date, which makes it March 14th, and she was already 2.6 pounds. BIG GIRL.. that is 61% in weight, which makes her a big baby girl! :)
PRAISE REPORT my Placenta has moved!! So we are so excited we might have a Natural Childbirth and also no more RESTRICTIONS!!
Her weight was actually closer to 29 weeks.. haha and record wise we were only 26 weeks 5 days.
However, she was 28 weeks in head measurements and legs, so we are going to go with the March 14th date!However, the doctor confirmed that they will be monitoring her growth and weight so I don't deliver a BIG 9 pound baby!! ;) Also, I am measuring outside of 29 weeks. So all in all we are just ahead in this Pregnancy!
My Glucose test was this day as well, and I PASSSED Amen! But my Iron is very low, I am taking some more iron pills to help that and my racing heart.
So far I have gained about 19 pounds all in all in the pregnancy ... so just 10-12 weeks left..
Next appointment and my last 4 week one, is Jan. 5th! SO EXCITED

.27 Weeks.
The last and final week in the 2nd Trimester and in the 6th Month of Pregnancy!
Bralyn graduates this week onto a new growth chart! She is no longer measured Crown to Rump, but measured head to toe! And she is measuring at least 15-16 inches. That is over 1 foot!!... She is also creeping up the charts in weight, now weighing over 2 pounds. She also has more taste buds now than she will at birth, meaning she can taste all the amniotic fluid of different foods and eat and might even respond to anything spicy or odd I put into my mouth.
I might also be able to feel her hiccupping as well.
And each week that passes her chances of surviving outside the womb is greater!
Appointments this week: Tuesday Ultrasound and Glucose Test! 21st.

Snow def. is BEAUTIFUL and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE living in NC and having snow regularly!.. We had our first snow of the year on December 4th, it was so pretty! Then we got snow again on Wednesday and Thursday of this past week, the 15th and 16th! And last night, the 18th, enjoyed watching it fall as we drove home late!
I can't wait for Bralyn next year to enjoy her snow days and see her in the snow. Princess doesn't like it much at all, but she is still too cute in it!

This weekend Patrick was to go to the Shrine Bowl in Spartanburg and I decided to go with him!! The school sent him and got our hotel, so we decided, why not make it a great BABYMOON for us!... We left early, early on Thursday morning! Wednesday night it had started snowing and we needed to hit the roads before it got very messy. We could only drive about 20 miles an hour, due to all the ICE on the roads, so our 3 1/2 hour trip took about 5 1/2. But once we hit 85 all was well weather wise.
The snow was so beautiful however when we left that morning!
We spent a wonderful weekend together, and got to enjoy a dinner, shopping and visiting WONDERFUL friends!!
We miss our Greenville families so much! I got to play and see little ASA White and spend great time with Derek and Miranda! WE love the family so much!!
Also, we got to see my wonderful girlfriend Bridget Watson! I MISS her so much!! She got Bralyn some precious things, I can't wait for her to wear them!!..
Then we made a trip over to NGU to visit all my Office family and spend the morning with them on Friday!!
I am sad we didn't get to see my other family the Deyton's but I know we will soon when Bralyn arrives!!
All in all it was a wonderful time.. I got to even go to the Gaffney Outlets!! LOVE some COACH STORE :) ..
We arrived home late last night, as we drove home in freezing weather again and snow falling! It was so pretty as we drove!
