ASA GABRIEL WHITE IS HERE!!

One of my dearest and best friends Miranda White and her husband Derek welcomed little Asa into the world on Monday Jun 28th. We are so excited for both of them!!
Miranda was a bridesmaid in my wedding, and college roommate! I love her dearly!! She told me before the wedding, and it is hard to believe at that time she was only 11 weeks! Time has sure flown by.


Asa Gabriel was 8 lbs 3 oz, 20 1/2 inches and was born at 7:19pm on the 28th!


CONGRATULATIONS, you will be wonderful parents! WE LOVE YOU ALL!

Packing

I have been packing away the apartment this week! Packing is not the most exciting thing ever, but I know I will be glad when I am finally done and that last week, we can enjoy Charleston and Friends before we move!!


If anyone knows of great places for boxes you can send me those thoughts! Thank you so much!!

Our first gift/ item for our NEW HOME!!

We are so blessed to have wonderful friends and people in our lives. Patrick while living in Fuquay before, worked for The Turner family. They are a precious family, who I have grown to love very dearly. Patrick is staying with them this summer, while we are in the process of moving and him needing to be in NC already. We are so thankful for them!!
This family has meant so much to Patrick through the years, and they now do to myself as well. 

Today they purchased a wonderful gift for our home! I am so excited about these wonderful new additions to our house!!

WE FOUND OUR HOUSE!!!

We are so excited!! We found our 1st house last friday and made an offer. The offer was accepted and we signed on this house Monday 6-21-10. It was also our 7th month anniversary!!

We love this house, and so blessed to have found it!.. We can't wait to live in NC.

The house is still under construction, and they are saying our closing date is July 30th.. I can't wait to see the progress on the house in the next month!!

House Hunting has begun

We have begun our House Hunting search and so far we have found several that we like. Patrick gets to go look at them durning the evenings and I get online to see pictures and details. We have found a wonderful one, as of last night. I am very exited to get there and see it.. Patrick comes home Friday and I follow him back on Sunday evening. Monday we will get to look some more, and at this one especially!!


Hopefully we will be placing an offer soon.. So praying that it goes smooth, that God opens doors, and that all the loans and everything fall into place!!

Weekend in Loris

On Friday evening when Patrick arrived back in Charleston, he was greeted also by his brother, Matthew and our sister n law Rayna . We are very blessed to have had them stay with us on Friday evening on their way to Loris for a week of vacation. :) 
We got to spend some time with them and our niece and nephews, Maddie, Reese and Logan. 
They also brought Annie their Lab to stay, and Princess found a new friend. 
We headed downtown and showed them around, and then went out to eat and get some amazing SEAFOOD!.. 


We got up early on Saturday and we all headed to Loris, to see Patrick's parents.  That evening we celebrated Maddie's 5th birthday and Logan's 1st . It was such a fun time, and wonderful food as always. 
Sunday we enjoyed a great day at Patrick's dad's church, before heading back to Charleston, and Patrick heading back to NC. 


It was hard to say goodbye to him for another week, after such a busy and short weekend. But it keeps me busy to count down the days to see him again.. :) Friday can hurry up though!!!

Summer Apart Begins...

Patrick left Monday night the 7th, to head to NC for the week. We will be doing this for the entire summer :( . He did not return until Friday evening the 10th.

Wonderful Blessings!!

God is continuing to bless us with our move to NC.  I got reconnected with a girl from College a few months back, Kaley Holt Saffain. She was the captain of the cheerleading team my first year at NGU in 04-05. She graduated and got married not long after. Kaley was always such a great friend my first year!! Well after we found out the news that we were moving to the Raleigh area, I contacted her about a post she was advertising for.. She needed a Nanny to start in August, in Garner NC close to were we are moving.. :)
ANd of course after contacting her, she said it was a prayer answered, and we are in the process of confirming the Job..!! I am so exited!! It is the same pay I now have as a Nanny, and would be a huge blessing!! (I don't want to return to a desk job, and I know God has heard my prayers).

As I have been so thrilled the last few days with this news, she contacted me today, telling me she would like to know if I wanted to help her start an Allstar Cheerleading program.. She is in the process and needs some coaches!! UM.. YES!!!!!!

So it looks like NC, not only is a blessing but a GOD SEND!! and I am so excited about the friends we know there, the ones we are meeting and the opportunities already for us!! Thank you Lord, and thank you friends and family for your prayers~~~

Summer Time Visits

WE had our first over night visitors since living in Charleston!!.. We were so excited to have another weekend with one of Patrick's groomsmen. Tim Singleton and his wife Kris came from Charlotte NC to spend a few days with us, back on May 21st-23rd.  The weekend after going to visit the other groomsmen JB and his wife in NC. :) 
It was a wonderful weekend.. They came in on Friday, and I cooked them dinner.. We had Pork Tenderloin, Corn on the Cobb, Sour Cream and Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus and Broc and Cheese Casserole. For dessert I made Peanut Butter Pie.. 
On saturday we woke up and went to the beach!! We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in the waves and sun on Isle of Palms!! Then that night we took them downtown to eat at Hyman's seafood Restaurant and got to go on a Haunted Jail Tour!! It was so much fun!!! :) 
Sunday they got to attend church with us, and have some mexican for lunch!!
We really enjoyed spending some more time with both of them. They are wonderful friends!! Love you guys~~

JADYN AUBREY CARTER turns 1....

Jadyn is 1... we are so excited for Rachel and Bryan, and she is growing so big!!! I got to head to Augusta on Friday early morning the 4th and celebrate this special day with her and our family!! She is so precious now, hard to believe that a year ago we were waiting on her to arrive, and now she is already 1, and walking and talking like crazy!! It was so much more fun on her birthday watching her open her gifts.. Christmas was nice, but she def. is more into them now for sure!! She was too cute, how she would open all her cards and hold them, and smile. She is a sweet, loving happy little girl!! Rachel and Bryan are truly blessed, and I have found being an AUNT is the best thing ever!!!...


It was wonderful as well to spend a day with my brother and parents. I dont' get to see them much, so it was a wonderful trip all in all. Princess came as well, and got to see all her cousins and big sister!!

!!!! NEWS !!!!

Hey everyone, there is so much that has been going on with us the last two weeks!! I have not been able to really blog and share, due to waiting for the official word!! 
Patrick is the New Head Coach of Harnett Central High School in Angier NC. We are so excited and can't wait to start this new chapter in our lives!!!


On the 18th I blogged about how we visited friends in Coats, NC.. We were there as well for this job interview. Patrick actually worked and coached JV football for 3 seasons before moving to SD and AR. So this is home for him.. He also graduated and played high school football at a sister city right next to Angier. I am so excited for him and us. We have been waiting for 2 weeks now, and completely blessed with God's timing and how everything has worked out!
Patrick got the official word on Friday the 25th, and then got the meeting and press conference date set on Thursday 2nd.. It was a long wait, but our families are so excited for us, and even though it takes us a little farther from my family, they can't wait for us to start this chapter as well.


Patrick went up there this past weekend, 4th-5th of June to have his press conference, meet the team and the principal. He did a wonderful job at the press conference and there were some awesome articles written about him as well. 


He will now be traveling to NC and staying during the week days to work out with the team and prepare for fall. Please pray for him and us as this summer approaches. Today he left for the first week away, and it is harder on me then I thought it would be :( .. 
So for now Princess and I count down the days to see him again.  We also will be making a trip up there to see daddy and house hunt, so please pray for that next step as well.
