Today we had a Surprise Baby shower at our home Church. Piney-Grove Baptist Church in Fuquay, NC. We have been so blessed to be apart of such a wonderful church family and Sunday School class! We also have fallen in love with our small group bible study that meets every other Tuesday night!! LOVE that group of people!!
But today in Sunday School, they had a surprise shower set up for us when I got there! It was so Sweet!! With wonderful FOOD and GOODIES to eat and enjoy, and a wonderful Gift Card, that is allowing us to get our Rocker/Glider Combo set for our Nursery!! THEY ARE A BLESSING!
We are so thankful for them in our lives and God allowing us to be apart of their lives as well!
They also announced they will be providing meals for us the first week or two after Bralyn arrives so we have plenty of meals! Did I say yet what a BLESSING they are??!!
SO thankful that God brought such incredible people and friends into our lives here in NC!

FULL TERM 38 Weeks TODAY!
WOW we made it!! We are FULL TERM!... Yes that means sweet baby girl Bralyn we can meet you now and we would be ok with that!!! :)
Her Due Date by Measurements is March 14th, but our original EDD (estimated Due Date) was March 24th, so our office is a week behind on charts still and will hold us to that date if she were to go past the 14th. So that part stinks, because she won't be considered late until after the 24th..
But we are READY NOW :) ..
My appointment is Friday the 4th.. So I will be busy this week walking etc!
My family will be here in 12 days and I pray she arrives either before or the week they are HERE~

37 Week Appointment
We were 37 weeks this past week! WOW! Almost at FULL TERM already?? Not sure where the pregnancy went! The first trimester was spent packing up our home, moving to NC, buying our 1st home, unpacking, FOOTBALL SEASON, Nanny to two sweet children, Working daily and weekends sharing my time with Football and my Husband, Thanksgiving, Christmas breaks, LOTS and LOTS of traveling to families in Nov and Dec, My birthday, Traveling to Baby Showers in Florida, Showers here in NC, Patrick's birthday and now we are at the END!..
It has been a very BUSY but FAST pregnancy! I am so thankful we were pregnant for the most part through all these busy seasons of our lives with school, football and holidays! It sure did make it easier then just sitting and counting and waiting during the slow months :) .. I have only felt the last 2 weeks or so are crawling by, so we can't complain at all there!
We have been blessed with a Great Pregnancy, and of the small restrictions early on, that God removed all fear and troubles and we are now having a Great final Trimester!
So on to the APPOINTMENT :) ..
Had the Group Strep B test done and will find out this week (yes weekly appointments AHH), if I am positive or negative with Strep B.
We were checked for measurements and we are measuring at 37 weeks! YAY and Great heartbeat of 135. She hit 160 while in the office, as she rolled and turned and made the doctor chase her for a few minutes! I am telling you she is BEYOND ACTIVE.. :) We are gonna have our hands full for sure!
We were also checked for dilation and progress! I was praying for a lot of progress, but I will take what we can get! I keep hearing 1st time babies like to take their time and be LATE :( so we will see if she is stubborn too! haha
I am about a finger tip dilated, if that, and 50% effaced!
My next appointment is Friday the 4th, so we will see if there is anymore!
Did I mention I am walking 2 times a day, doing some squats etc to help make some more progress too! haha!

Wow Where did Feb. Go?
Not like I am pregnant or something and don't seem to find the time to blog haha!. But where did the month of Feb. go??
Patrick and I celebrated Valentine's day together at home, with a home cooked meal, and had fun exchanging candies etc. On Friday the 18th Patrick turned 29 years old!!.. Yes he is old I know :) . We enjoyed a WONDERFUL date night out to eat and the movies! That is our first movie as a couple since living in Charleston! It was a blast, but we both realized quick we don't have many more of those nights left before Bralyn arrives! :)
On Saturday the 19th we had a WONDERFUL Couples Shower given to us by the Coaches and their wives!.. We started the shower off at Cooley's Wing House and then ended at the Bennett's house with Incredible Desserts!.. We had a blast playing some babies games, and spending time celebrating the soon arrival of our sweet little angel!
Did I mention that Feb was a busy month??!!... We then spent Sunday afternoon and Monday taking Maternity pictures! We had so much fun taking them and getting to just spend time together again as Husband and Wife, without the work schedule and stress!
I know we will cherish these pictures for years to come! I can't wait to put them in frames in her Nursery!
As we tackled the last week of the month, we finished washing Bralyn's clothes, packing my Hospital bag and marking week 36 and 37 of this Pregnancy!.. So thankful and Blessed for God's continuing love and blessings in our life!

2 years ago today!
2 Years ago today!! 2/13/09 Patrick Nathanael Turner asked me to be his wife! What a wonderful DAY that was!! I can't believe it has been 2 years already??!!
I am so blessed to have him as my Husband and soon to be Father of our baby girl! I couldn't imagine life any other way or with anyone else! God has truly blessed our home and family and I am so thankful and grateful!
I LOVE YOU PATRICK!.. Thank you for asking me to be your wife!! I love you more everyday!!

Early Valentine's/Birthday FUN
Yesterday 2/12 we went to the Circus here in Raleigh to celebrate early Patrick's birthday and Valentine's day!.. It was so much fun! As I sat there watching it, I realized this was one of our last dates before little Bralyn arrives and we become a family of 3. I am so excited for that, but a little bittersweet to think it isn't just us anymore!
I am sure we will have another date night before she comes in 4 weeks, but the CIRCUS was a BLAST!!
Patrick's birthday is this coming Friday, he will be 29 years old! I tell him all the time, he is a OLD MAN :) lol.. I can't wait to celebrate with him!
Valentine's Day is tomorrow, and I became a very crafty girl this year! I will have to wait until tomorrow to post what I made him, but I was very proud of myself haha!! :)

Updates/News
Wow!, I realized today I haven't written on my blog since 29 weeks.. So sorry I am so behind!!. Tomorrow we will be 36 weeks, so I guess the last 7 have been just crazy weeks!!
We have had some Baby Showers, Celebrated My birthday, friends baby showers, new additions to the coaching staff family, travels, setting up her Nursery and so much more! January and February have been very fun but busy months for our family!.. I am excited for this coming weekend, we will have little Bralyn's last shower with the coaching staff!! What a blessing they are to us all!! :)
We are almost done with everything for Bralyn, which is a huge blessing and stress relief!!
I will upload some pictures of the last 7 weeks! :)
But the basic update, is that we are doing great! Patrick is working all the time, and in the last 7 weeks, we have had snow 3 times! I have enjoyed some snow days with him, but I am glad that they didn't have too many! He is trying to save his days to be with me and Bralyn when she arrives!
We joined Piney Grove Baptist church the first weekend of January and LOVE our new CHURCH home! They are such a blessing to our family and have made us one of their own!!
My wonderful Friend Lauren Rimpf, had her little baby GIRL!! Lila Jone Rimpf on Jan 31st.. I am so excited we both are having little girls and they can be buddies!! I have missed spending some time with her these last two weeks, but looking forward to letting our little girls meet soon!
Well lets see what else has happened?? We had a wonderful Coaches Super Bowl party and got to spend time with wonderful friends! I am so thankful and blessed to have all of the coaches wives in my life! THEY ARE WONDERFUL women and FRIENDS!
As I said a little earlier, the Nursery is DONE! YAY.. minus the curtains and a few little things, but she won't be in there for a little bit, so we can wait for now on that part!! We have been so blessed by showers, from friends and family, we are so GRATEFUL and SPEECHLESS at everything Bralyn has gotten! We cannot wait to meet her!
My appointments have been great! Her heartbeat wonderful!.. My Iron was very low after my Glucose test and I have been taking an Iron Pill and it is helping greatly!.. My heart would race and I would feel light headed, and this as helped so much!! Pregnancy brings out all kinds of things anyway, so I have all the normal things.. swollen feet and hands, BACK ACHE BAD!... uncomfortable, headaches sometimes, HUNGRY alot and everything else in between! Not to mention the NO SLEEP, but she is preparing me for Mommyhood!!
I am going to promise to keep better track of the blog! I will be 36 weeks tomorrow 2/14! VALENTINE'S DAY!.. And I have my last 2 week appointment on Wednesday of this week 2/16. I can't believe after that I will be going weekly!! CRAZY how fast this pregnancy has gone!!
