Long time, no post

I am probably the worst at taking breaks from posting! I promise when more exciting things are happening I will do so on a more regular basis. 


However, since my last blog, lets see what has been going on. 


I have been packing up a storm, and for some reason escaping the summer heat, and taking a afternoon nap each day!! Simply amazing!! :) 
I had a wonderful evening last Monday night with some great girlfriends of mine here in Charleston!
It was a much needed GIRLS NIGHT!.. we had taco salads, got to catch up and then watch the Bachelorette! Love that show!! :0 
Oh Ali, you need to chose Chris, I really like him!!


Anyway, now I have been back to packing. Thursday night Blair Hodgens Spivey came over and helped me pack up some, which was such a blessing!! IT was a fun girls night as well, and we had chinese food!! The BEST :) 


I was lazy this weekend sadly, but I am getting right back to work tonight and tomorrow night!
Tomorrow night (Tuesday) the girls from last Monday are coming over to help me finish packing! Which is a blessing beyond WORDS!!.. I will be getting some more boxes tomorrow, and hopefully be done!! very soon! :) 


As for now... we are closing (still on time as of today) on the 30th, which is friday! 4 more days! AND BEST part my Husband and I get to see each other after 3 weeks apart on Thursday!! THANK YOU LORD!!
Then... loading up the Uhaul here on Thursday, driving to NC and then Unloading the Uhaul Friday and closing!


Then a much needed to time to ourselves! My husband and I get the weekend alone in our new home to unpack and see each other!~! Thank you LORD..

CONGRATULATIONS RUBY !!

One of my dearest High school friends Rubyana Walker and her wonderful family welcomed their beautiful twins into this world on Sunday July 4th! She was a day away from 37 weeks! Cheynne and Corbin are doing wonderful and so is Mommy!!

God's Blessings

I just want to take a moment to say how thankful I am for God's blessings in our lives!! I know I have said it so many times, but we are so excited for our FUTURE and the plans that are unfolding, and how God is providing!!.. Any news now a days we find as Great news, as we look into our FUTURE!! May God always get our prayers of thanksgiving 100% of the time.. May I never stop thanking him and remembering where it is all coming from! I think from time to time we ask and ask for something, and then forget when we are BLESSED with AN AMAZING ANSWER, to go back and thank GOD for all He did for that request!!


I realized this today, for a request GOD answered for me on Sunday, that I needed to be more thankful to GOD Then I ever was to take this request to Him.. He didn't have to answer it, and because He did, we should thank Him 100 times more then we had in prayer asking!!


May you be thankful today for the small, and big things that God does for you in your LIFE!..

While Patricks away...

This is the longest time we are apart and have been since we have been married.. We had been apart for 3-4 days and then June 22-July 1st.. but this time it is killing me!
He left on July 5th and will not be home until July 28th :( .. I am not a fan of this either, but we know it has to be done.  Today we still have 13 days left until he is back home!!!


Our plan is still to load the Uhaul on the early morning of the 29th, and head to NC that afternoon/evening! We pray we are signing on the 30th and moving in.. There could be a small delay of a couple of days, but we will keep you all posted!!


Packing has been delayed on my part, I need to honestly get with the game plan.. lol.. 


But all in all we are very excited and ready to move! I am more ready then anything to be back TOGETHER again!!


Meanwhile, Patrick is getting back into the grove in NC and loving it! He has all his coaches, and even though that has been a challenge and he didn't get a few he really wanted, we know God has a plan for this staff and team!
Please pray that they will all come together, and that God will use, Patrick and all the coaches this season as they coach and lead this Trojan football team!!
Until the Season officially begins, which is on August 20th vs. Apex (at Apex) , he is busy getting orders of supplies in, mowing, watering the fields, overseeing all the practices each day, work outs and trying to get the house stuff taken care off. I am so blessed to have him as a husband and so thankful for all he is doing for us, until I get there!!

Adult Powerlife and Vacation Weekend

This past weekend was a busy, but fun weekend in GA. It was the 21st year of my Dad's bible conference in St. Simons Island GA. I left work on Friday around 12, and  got to GA around 3:15pm!.. I was so excited to see my family and sweet Jadyn!!
Like I said it was SUPER busy, with 3 preachers Friday night, 3 preachers Saturday morning, and then Drama Saturday night and my dad preached Sunday morning!! But all in all it was a wonderful time!!
Little Jadyn, Bryan and my sister and I went to the outlets Saturday afternoon, which was a lot of fun!!
Sweet Jadyn is all over the place, and the happiest little baby ever. She has started to say my name, and is calling me Essie!! I LOVE IT.. I told that sweet baby she can call me whatever she wants to!!


I headed back on Sunday afternoon, following my parents as they headed to week #2 of camp in TN.  Casey Slagle road with me some of the way, I have missed our friendship and was so happy to see her and get to hang out!!


Princess was very glad to see her mommy too!! (she stayed with Snuggles, and some friends of ours in our newlywed class!)


All in all it was a wonderful weekend!!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of JULY!!!.... Patrick came home this weekend after being in NC for 11 days!.. We enjoyed a lazy Friday and Saturday around the house, picking out paint colors, packing some boxes and watching movies!
We then celebrated our 1st 4th of July married. We went to see Toy Story 3.. IT WAS AWESOME!! ,then we came home to have a wonderful American meal! Hamburgers, corn on the cobb, sonny's bbq beans and watermelon!!
Then we watched a movie and headed out to see Fireworks!!
It was a wonderful 4th!

He left Monday and headed back to NC. He will be gone this time for 22 days, and will return the night before we move :( .. So ready to move!! 25 days.
