11 Weeks

Baby is just over 2 inches long now and weighs about a third of an ounce, around the size of a lime. His or her body is straightening out and the torso is lengthening. Hair follicles are forming, and fingernail and toenail beds are beginning to develop (nails will actually start to grow within the next few weeks.) Those nails are forming on individual fingers and toes, having separated recently from the webbed hands and feet of just a few weeks ago. And though you can't tell the baby's gender by looking yet or even by an ultrasound, ovaries are developing if it is a girl. The baby has distinct human characteristics this week, with hands and feet in the front of the body, ears nearly in their final shape (if not already in the final location). 
Baby is growing wonderfully! 2 more weeks until 2nd Trimester!

FALL IS HERE!!

So there are some things that just MAKE ME SO HAPPY in this life... Of course there are obvious ones!! But one of those is FALL TIME, PUMPKINS and THANKSGIVING!!  My most favorite time of the year!!..

Football always means FALL Is here, and I have been so excited to have football season begin.. however TONIGHT, we passed KROGER grocery store and they had PUMPKINS outside!! WHAT!! YAY! beyond excited.. Not to mention that September is here on Wednesday!
Well after passing the Pumpkins we headed to Starbucks for a special treat, and to my SURPRISE they had PUMPKIN SPICE COFFEE!!! It is that TIME OF THE YEAR already!!
So needless to say I am one HAPPY girl tonight! 
Bring on the colder weather, Fall leaves and October and November and it will be COMPLETE!!

10 Weeks

I was 10 weeks on Tuesdsay. I am going to try each Tuesday to update you all on the growth of the baby and what is going on in this pregnancy!!

 Week 10

At nearly 1 1/2 inches long (the size of a Prune), baby is growing by leaps and bounds. And is grearing up for those first leaps and bounds (and baby steps), bones and cartilage are forming and small indentations on the legs are developing into knees and ankles. Even more unbelievably for someone the size of a prune, the elbows on baby's arms are already working. Tiny buds of baby's teeth are forming under the gums. Further down, the stomach is producing digestive juices, and the kidneys are having larger quantities of urine! This week is a milestone for Baby, the first part of fetal development is all about organization! And this week all of baby's cells have been directed to the right places. Brain tissues is also forming, fingers and toes are taking form and all baby's muscles are beginning to take form as well. Because of all of this taking place, Baby looks more like a miniature baby this week then an embryo!

Update on Football!

GO TROJANS!  Patrick started the season off away last week vs. Apex, they won 54-31! GREAT JOB Trojans!... 
This week was also away vs. Triton it was a wonderful game, and they WON again, 51-14! 
They are doing so good, and I love going and supporting him and getting to be by his side so much more, then last year!

9 Weeks TODAY! Starting my 3rd Month

Cant believe I am 9 weeks already, it seems I just found out and was only 4 weeks :) .> Time is flying and it is crazy to think I am already starting my 3rd month Preggo!! :) 

I am so excited! I have not been throwing up sick since about week 7, so that is great! I do get queasy and light headed if I don't eat or I get too tired however. And at night my feet get rested on the couch and a bath is always in order!! :) 

Other then that I feel great, and I am ready to get all my ENERGY back in 3 weeks when I start my 2nd Trimester!! :) 
Being tired all the time just isn't fun at all!

Football Is Underway

Harnett Central Football has started. We spent Thursday night a Pigskin Jamboree, and Saturday at the Harnett Country Jamboree! It was nice to see Patrick coaching and working with his team! I love him so much, and he is already doing such a great job! We open this weekend at Apex High School at 7:30pm! ;)

WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!

We are so excited to announce we are expecting a BABY on March 22nd 2011.
We found on on July 10th and it has been hard keeping a secret for sure!! :) 

Patrick was gone this summer, and we have been praying and thinking about a family. We were praying to start a family sometime this fall or close to 1 year!, however God had bigger and better plans for us! We are blessed, nervous, excited and scared all at the same time!! 
I had a 5 week appointment on June 22nd and an ultrasound! It was neat, although I couldn't see much, to see the sac and confirm I was actually pregnant. I honestly however didn't need the ultrasound to tell me, we took 5 tests and they were all positive, and by 5 weeks I was very sick and had EVERY symptom known to MAN!.. :) 

We then moved the following weekend, and we told both of our parents at 6 weeks along! They were both so happy for us.. I knew me being sick and not lifting boxes etc, would mean the word would get out at least to them!!
We kept quiet though and didn't tell anyone else until our 8 week appointment on August 10th!

My mom and sister were in town, and the doctor called them both back into the room so they could see the Ultrasound! THEY were so EXCITED.. the baby was just a moving and waving! :) I was measuring about 2 days ahead of schedule, so we are thinking my due date changed from March 24th to the 22nd! I was officially 8 weeks that day! Baby's heartbeat was a strong one as well with 167!


We waited until the next day once we could get ahold of all family members and grandparents before posting it on fb! but I am glad it is officially out there now, and we don't have to keep quiet!!

My Mom and Sister Come to Visit

My Mom and Sister and sweet Jadyn came to Fuquay to help us get unpacked and all moved in! I am so thankful and blessed to have had them here to help me!! They came in on Sunday night, and stayed until Wednesday morning! I loved!! having them here! 
Jadyn was a mess and I loved playing with here!

They were a huge helped and got so much stuff put away in the house!!

MOVING into our NEW HOUSE

So excited about our Home! We loaded the Uhaul on Thursday June 29th, 2010. It was a very hot day in Charleston, SC. But the truck got loaded in about four house, Patrick brought a coach with him from NC and Patrick's dad brought a man from Loris with him! All in all we are so thankful and grateful for these men to have helped us get loaded up and ready to move!!.. 
Then Patrick and I headed that night with a full truck and Jeep and sweet Princess with us, and headed to NC! :0 

Friday morning we awoke very early, and headed to the final walk through of our home! 7am!.. Crazy I know, but we were so happy to have this done, and finally see the house :) 
We didn't close that day until 4pm, in Raleigh! After some time signing our life away, we had our house keys and were HOME OWNERS!! YAY!!

We then headed back to Fuquay and got ready to unload the truck!... 1 of the other coaches and his dad came and Patrick's parents were here as well. Then one of his groomsmen JB and wife Brittany came and helped us until about 11pm that night!.. We thankful again for all of these people who helped us move in!!

We spent Saturday hanging blinds and unpacking, and then unpacking some more!
Have I mentioned WE LOVE OUR HOUSE!! :)
