Take a look at your hand. Baby is about the palm-size now, with a crown-to-rump length of about 6 inches and an approximate weight of 5 (or more) ounces. Around the size of a Large Onion. Body fat is beginning to form, but baby is still quite skinny, with skin that is practically translucent. This week, baby is all about practice, practice, practice in preparation for birth. Lastly, are important skills baby is sharpening up now: sucking and swallowing!. Baby's heart rate is regulated by the brain (no more spontaneous beats) and clocks in at 140-150 beats per minutes.
Baby is getting so big! We are now in the final week of Month 4. Hard to believe next Tuesday we will be entering Month 5 of pregnancy!
We also go Friday at noon to find out the Gender of this little one!! CANNOT WAIT!!
