Wedding Photos from Luminosity

I love our Wedding Photos!!  Luminosity did a great job! It has been hard to pick the ones we are going to use and hang on our walls, but I love having them.. Getting the pictures in the mail today, makes you go back to that day and enjoy every minute all over again!!! :) Here are a few of my favorites!

JV Softball, James Island

Patrick is now the Head Coach for JV Softball team at James Island.. Last night was their first scrimmage game.. It was a lot of fun, but way too cold!!!
They lost the first game 5-3, and then tied the second game 4-4.  So they are honestly doing a great job!!

It was fun seeing him coach another sport... can't wait for this season!!

A Walk Downtown Charleston

Today, was the first nice day in a long time here in Charleston.  Patrick and I enjoyed a lazy Saturday, and then decided this afternoon to take our little Princess to walk downtown. We went to a park area around Battery Park.  The park has a sidewalk that goes in a circle around a huge pond. Princess got to meet lots of other dogs too, but we are learning she is not so friendly and doesn't stop and speak to new friends. lol.  Patrick and I enjoyed the walk greatly, but our little one, well she is lazy so she was tired after just minutes into it. We only walked twice, due to our little one dragging behind.
Before leaving downtown I was in favor of getting Starbucks!! I love me some starbucks, and it is the closest one to us. 
Patrick and I parked downtown and walked a few blocks to get the coffee. On the way I carried Princess, due to the loud cars, that were scaring her half to death.  When walking back to the car, Patrick let her walk on her leash, and once again she doesn't stop for anyone or anything, just shakes and wants to go right back to the car.. It was very funny.
I found out that I have a lazy couch dog for sure.. Bless her heart she is so tired, she passed out in the car, and has been passed out since returning home!!! hehe...
This might take her days to recover... But WE LOVED IT!!
I can't wait for more sunny days here on the coast to see more of Charleston together!!

Patrick's Birthday!! 28th

Tonight we celebrated Patrick's Birthday!! 02-18. It was so nice to celebrate together this year, instead of over the phone and mailing cards. I made reservations for Queen Anne's Revenge on Daniel's Island. It was great food. We are very full!! ;)
I also made a dessert for him, Brownie/Peanut Butter Pie Truffle.. It was wonderful!! We were too full to honestly enjoy it tonight however.
Patrick wanted Modern Warfare2, for Xbox 260. It is Call of Duty new came or something.. So needless to say the Wife made sure that happened, and another month subscription for him to play online!!  Yes, I know I am a good wife.. lol.
But over all it was a wonderful night celebrating his 28th birthday. I love him with all of my heart!!!
PS. I feel like we are getting old.. lol...

Newlywed Makeover

Tuesday night was so much fun again!  We did another newlywed makeover night! Marianne did such a great job once again.. We had about 8-10 girls over and I have enjoyed meeting new friends once again! We went to Ellen's house, it was so beautiful.. Ellen lives in Summerville, and her home was already so pretty.. It is crazy how these homes are so pretty and yet we always seem to still change and make things even better.
I have volunteered our home for Tuesdsay March 2nd. I am so excited~!~ I can't wait to see if we can update our home at all.
By that date, we will have our Wedding pictures hung, and a few other items for our house, so we will see.. If nothing else I am looking forward to the fun and fellowship that, that night brings!!!

Valentines Day

We had such a great Valentine's Weekend, from snow to dinner at Riveroaks!! Sunday was officially Valentine's Day. We went to church at East Cooper that morning, then out to lunch at O'Charley's. It was a surprise to go out to eat after church, and I enjoyed it greatly!!
Then Patrick surprised me ever more by taking me to the movies that afternoon. We went to see the movie, "Valentine's Day." It was so GOOD! definately a girl movie.. lol, but Patrick got big brownie points for taking me there.  Then we came home to have dinner and spend some time together. I made Chocolate Covered Strawberries for dessert!!  It was a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Dinner at RiverOaks

We celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday the 13th. Our wonderful new newlywed class Sunday School teachers host Valentine's Dinner at their house, and call it RiverOaks.. This is such a beautiful home that they have. It was such an amazing dinner!  The snow was beautiful, but caused not only us, but many others to have no power.  The Caldwells (our teachers), lost power at 10pm on Friday and as of Saturday night, they still had no power. But the show still went on.  It was wonderful!!!  We had dinner by candlelight.  We had Prime Rib, Asparagus, Mashed Potatoes, great salad and incredible desserts!! The fellowship was wonderful as always as well. We have met so many great new friends!! It was a very Romantic evening.. We departed from dinner with valet parking, and rose petals along the walk. It was truly a wonderful VALENTINE'S!

1 Year Ago !

It was 1 year ago tonight, that Patrick asked me to be his wife!! It was such an amazing night, and truly incredible propsal! I have been so blessed this past year. It is fun to look back at where this past year took us, in our relationship with one another from planning, dating and then getting married!! This time last year we had no idea that we would be here in Charleston and all the incredible things that 2009 held for us.  I am so lucky every day to be married to my best friend! I can't help today to think back at that night, and how much he surprised me! I now think back at that night, as "the night that changed my life forever."
Little did I know what Feb 13, 2009 would mean to me until the end of my scavenger hunt!!

3 Inches of Snow in Charleston!! SNOW DAY

What a great weekend for a SNOW DAY!!  We woke up to about 3 inches of snow in Charleston, SC. It had been 10 years since their last snow!!  And we woke up to still NO POWER :( .  After having to make ourselves get up on this cold morning, we ventured outside. It was so PRETTY.  White all over the ground, and so peaceful and calm.  Princess was a little bit more excited about the snow today. Afterall, the cold rain had stopped and it was more of a powder. She had fun running in the field across the street and took a nose dive once or twice!! lol.  She was covered in Snow by the time we got inside!!
Patrick's snowman lasted through the night, and into the afternoon!
The snow quickly melted by 10:30am or so, with only shaded areas holding white still. We still had no power, so all 3 of us snuggled in the bed and watched a movie by the laptop!!
We decided around 11:45 to head to lunch at Chick fil A ! ... Praying when we returned we would find POWER. and WE DID!! Finally around 1pm we had power restored!!
It was a wonderful Snow DAY!!
